やはりというかなんというか、「Rock'n Roll Guitars」だそうで(笑)。ボディーもヘッドもろっくんろーるしぇいぷ(笑)！！！ううむ、フェンダー社がボディーの重量や密度について触れているものを初めて目にしましたよ。重いのにも訳があると。で、LEAD2は伝統的フェンダーサウンドだよなあ、うんうん。皆さんもLEADシリーズを扱う時は気をつけて！火傷するぜ(ﾆﾔ)…

Fender presents two totally new instruments-the Lead1 and Lead2 Rock'n Roll Guitars.
For starters, the Lead1 and Lead2 look rock'n roll. We reshaped the body for easier playing and restyled the head to match.
Hot stuff. Simply put, what we've done on the inside may just help these new Fenders blow out any other guitar on the market.
The Lead1 arms you with a more highly explosive humbucking sound than anything around.
The Lead2 brings that legendary Fender sound to a white heat.
All this is the result of super hot-rodded pickups, totally new circuitry and switching capabilities that open up an unduplicated range of sound.
Full-scale Fenders. On each guitar, we've coupled a full-scale 251/2-inch neck to a heavier ash body for perfect feel and balance. Not that we set out to add weight to these guitars -but because increased mass and density are the logical coefficients of Lead1's and Lead2's functions.
Our lyrics can't do justice to your music. Nothing we say will come close to what you can play with a Lead1 or Lead2 Rock'n Roll Guitar. So we strongly suggest you play a note, a chord or your favorite solo on one at your authorized Fender dealer.
We think you'll agree: These could be the ultimate rock'n roll instruments. And while the sound may be almost too hot to handle, you can definitely handle the price.
